Steve and Susannah Downey bought Waterhouse Farm in 2004. It is situated on the edge of Withypool, the quintessential Exmoor village which not only has direct access to the moor, but still retains a post office, village shop and tea rooms. An increasing rarity these days. Withypool is also home of the Royal Oak Inn, regarded by many to be the finest pub on Exmoor, with its traditional unspoilt bar and excellent food.
They are now able to offer a range of facilities including livery, hirelings, hosting events in the indoor arena, B&B or self catering holidays for horses and riders. Waterhouse Farm is run by family and friends who want to share the very best that Exmoor can offer. |

The Downey's have now completed the painstaking renovation of their 400 year old farm house, and the meticulous upgrading of the yard and large indoor arena.
